Denturist Services
In addition to providing new and replacement dentures, Abbotsford Fraser Denture Clinic offers a full range of denture maintenance services. We accept all Dental Insurance Plans.
Routine Checkups - Recommended Every 6 Months
Just like natural teeth, dentures should be checked regularly - about every six months - to ensure that no damage has occurred and to confirm proper fit and function.
Repairs
While our dentures are very durable, cracks, chips, and breakage do occur on occasion. Most repairs can be completed within an hour and should be done as soon as possible to avoid more damage occurring. While we do ask that you make an appointment for non-urgent repairs, emergency services are available when needed.
Relining and Rebasing
Since the inside of your mouth changes over time, dentures can become loose, generate sore spots, or otherwise become ill fitting or uncomfortable. Regular relining provides a quick and cost-effective method to avoid or repair these issues.
Regular Relining and will help to keep your dentures and your gums in better condition.
If significant changes have occurred, it is also possible to replace the entire "pink" gum portion of the denture while retaining all of the teeth. This is called rebasing.
There are a number of different relining and rebasing options to choose from. Please feel free to call our office to ask for advice, or better yet, be sure to have your routine checkups twice a year.
Cleaning & Polishing
Since the material used to make Dentures are created specifically to look and function like natural teeth, over time staining can occur. An office cleaning and re-polishing will quickly restore the colour and shine to your dentures.
