Description
Offers a culturally-based, psychosocial addiction treatment program for self-identified Aboriginal female youth ages 12 to 18 who are involved with the justice system. The holistic residential program includes an educational component, life skills training, anger management, and a youth substance abuse management program. The 20-week program provides a safe and nurturing environment where young women are given opportunities to develop and enhance skills and assets related to successful community living and personal well-being. Open custody program; referral required from a probation officer. Offered in partnership with Surrey School Board and with Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
